APPLICATION FOR MACARON PRODUCTION LEADER

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Macaron Production Leader leads the production team to fulfill the daily demands of macaron production efficiently while following recipes & procedures respectfully.

MINIMUM RESPONSIBILITIES:

Maintains production of macarons based on daily demand.

Leads the production team through all production steps: prep for macaron batter, pipe macaron batter, clean up after piping, consolidate macaron sheets, prep all buttercream recipes, pair macaron shells, fill macarons, top macaron shells.

Maintains a clean and sanitary environment.

Ensures that ingredients are in stock and ready to meet business demand.

Ensures safety procedures are followed.

Works at a fast pace and demonstrates a sense of urgency

Maintains communication with the employer & front of the house leader with production schedule.

Encourages teamwork and leads by example by being a good team player.

Follows daily objectives and holds oneself accountable for achieving those objectives.

Works in an organized & deliberate manner.

Problem-solving: objectively and calmly solves issues by identifying the problem and working towards a solution.

Works at a fast pace and demonstrates a sense of urgency

REQUIREMENTS:

Frequent standing, walking, kneeling, bending, and reaching overhead.

Able to stand for extended periods.

Must be able to lift, move and carry up to 50 pounds.

Must be able to commit 40hrs/week, overtime, weekend, and holidays if needed.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

The starting pay is $27/hr + tips. A formal evaluation will be conducted after completing a 3-month work period with Honey & Butter. Outstanding efforts will be rewarded accordingly.
